William B. Keene Community Service Award

Dr. William Keene devoted most of his professional life to all levels of public education in Delaware.  He was a teacher, a school principal, a school district Superintendent, the State Superintendent of Public Education and a Director of School/University Partnerships at the University of Delaware.  Dr. Keene was one of the founders of Jobs for Delaware Graduates and a Charter Member of the Board of Directors.

This award is given annually to the student who best exemplifies service to their community.
