William B. Keene Community Service Award

This award is given
annually to the student who best exemplifies service to their
community.
The award recipient for
2010-2011
is
Di'Monique Bessix
of Smyrna High School JDG.
As a volunteer with the 4-H Program
Di'Monique assists younger students with homework, school
projects and study skills. She also volunteered with the
Delaware Democratic Party in their "phone bank" to survey area
residents on political issues and brief those called on the
candidates.
